Top Storylines of the Night Kristaps Porziņģis is scheduled to make his season debut tonight when the Boston Celtics host the surging LA Clippers. Porziņģis’s return gives the defending champs another weapon on both ends of the floor after he averaged 20.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game in 57 games last season. Boston will be rocking with KP back as they go for a sixth consecutive win.The Memphis Grizzlies are also expected to have Ja Morant back in the lineup tonight when they welcome the Portland Trailblazers to town. Morant has missed the last eight games for Memphis with a hip injury, but the Grizz have played well in his absence, going 5-3 in the contests without him. Ja is averaging 20.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 9.1 assists this season (eight games played). The LA Clippers take on the Celtics with their five-game winning streak on the line. This matchup has a chance to be tight defensively, as both LA (5th) and Boston (10th) currently rank inside the top ten for defensive rating in 2024-25.
