The Los Angeles Lakers have officially confirmed a trade deal with the Brooklyn Nets. D’Angelo Russell and Maxwell Lewis will be traded to the Nets in exchange for Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton. In addition to the player swap, the Lakers will also be sending three future second-round picks to the Nets as part of the agreement.

Milton, a steady point guard in his seventh NBA season, is averaging 7.4 points and 2.4 assists over 27 games with Brooklyn.
Russell is back for his second stint with the Nets, spending two seasons with Brooklyn from 2017-2019. The 10-year veteran guard is averaging 12.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 4.7 assists with the Lakers this season.
