New Delhi: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially unveiled the schedule for the highly anticipated Pakistan Super League, which is all set to kick off on April 11. The tournament will open with a thrilling match between defending champions Islamabad United and two-time champions Lahore Qalandars at the iconic Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Fans can expect a fierce competition as the teams battle it out for the coveted title.
The six-team tournament will feature 34 matches from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium is set to host 13 games, including the two Eliminators and the grand final.
The upcoming Pakistan Super League will also feature an exhibition match on April 8 in Peshawar, with teams for the clash to be confirmed later.
Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including one of the qualifiers. Karachi’s National Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each stage five games. The tournament will have three double-headers—two on Saturdays and one on Labour Day, a national holiday.
