Mohammed Siraj Exposes Truth Behind Fiery Exchange with Travis Head: 'He Abused Me and Lied in the Press'

New Delhi: India had no answer to Travis Head's aggressive batting display as he smashed the bowlers all over the ground, scoring a massive 140 runs. Head's onslaught put India on the defensive, allowing Australia to take a strong 157-run lead. Following his dismissal by Mohammed Siraj, Head and Siraj were involved in a heated exchange on the field. However, Head clarified after the day's play that he was actually praising Siraj for his delivery, but there was a misunderstanding between the two players.

“I said well bowled, but he thought otherwise. When he pointed me towards the shed, he got a little bite back from me. Yeah, slightly disappointed with the way that transpired, with a couple of past innings, but it is what it is. If they want to react like that, if that’s how they want to represent themselves, then so be it,” Head told Fox Cricket after stumps on Day 2.

However, Head’s clarification was challenged by Siraj ahead of Day 3, who confirmed that Travis Head had actually abused him and then lied about it in the media.
