Ramandeep Singh scored 17 runs off 11 balls before being dismissed. He was at the non-striker’s end when Mohamad Haris collected the ball and executed a run-out.

India A began their campaign on a high note, securing a narrow 7-run victory over Pakistan A. The defending champions struggled with consistent wickets, preventing any of their batters from establishing a solid partnership to chase down the target. Arafat Minhas was the standout performer for Pakistan A, scoring 41 runs off 29 balls.

India A appeared poised to surpass the 200-run mark at one point but suffered key wickets in the closing stages. Abhishek Sharma (35) and Prabhsimran Singh (36) laid a strong foundation, contributing 68 runs for the opening wicket in just 6.1 overs. Tilak Varma played a crucial innings, scoring 44 runs off only 25 balls, while Nehal Wadhera added 25 runs from 22 deliveries.
